Welcome BACK ya'll! I am a forever food-loving gal down in South Carolina. I love food and drink. I love everything about it. The sound of the sprinklers going off in the produce section of the local grocery. The tarty taste of fresh squeezed lemonade from the State Fair. The subtle hint of salt and pepper on a juicy, just-picked garden tomato. The sugary frosting on a child's birthday cake. Ordering a fine bottle of champagne on girls' night out. Drinking tequila with hand's messy from all-you-can-eat crab legs. And I am absolutely over the moon for cheese. So, grab a knife and a fork, and a bottle and a cork...
Well...that was then and this is now. 2011 - We now have a two year old daughter named Lily. We are also the proud new owners of a high-end antique shop in West Columbia. To top it off, we are in an on-going process of renovating our older home. Whew!
Blonde Appetit will be more than just food and entertaining. It will include healthy recipes for children, fun party ideas for kids, stories from our adventures "picking" the best antiques, and exhausted cries for help about how to balance it all! Nonetheless, I still love cooking and enjoy a glass of wine more than I should. So, you can expect the content to remain the same as before...only enhanced due to the exciting additions and changes in lifestyle.
Kick back, relax, and enjoy reading:
-creative, simple, posh, casual, elegant ways to entertain -decorating, designing, and re-designing -tales from the Shop -recipes - for adults and children -and check out all the hotspots we visit on this adventure!
